November 2nd – Volunteer Training Event

Hats off to all volunteers who contributed their time and attended the volunteer training workshop this past Sunday. In a single afternoon they learned many therapy techniques and exercises that will extremely beneficial to Orah Mital’s progress.
Every volunteer’s time is very valuable, and we are in the right direction to making every minute count. As a cohesive team of friends, volunteers, and therapists, our joined efforts will positively effect Orah Mital.

An additional over-due THANK YOU belongs to the Bais Rivkah HS Volunteers who organized and carried through with a positive and effective Fundraiser Carnival last month. The very successful afternoon entertained kids with fun carnival-style booths, cotton candy and other snacks, and a special presentation by the Small Wonder Puppet Theater.

The Orah Mital Recovery Campaign would like to extend its deepest gratitude to members of the community who tirelessly provided Orah Mital Habosha with the support she needed following the tragic August 3rd, 2007 car accident.
We are pleased to inform you that Orah Mital is, thank G-d, on the road to recovery, and will be coming home shortly.
Orah Mital will continue to need a great amount of financial and moral support, especially after she returns home.
Our mission is to create and maintain a network that will provide Orah Mital with the financial and moral support she needs to completely recover. By its very nature, the network will enable our youth to unite in a constructive and inspirational manner.
